I have made such a large body of works that I scarcely know how to separate them. An obsession with stripes resultsed in experiments with single colors, using prime numbers to see what they did to the patterns and rhythms, a series of white-on-white stripes, a series of black-on-black stripes and curves that voluptuously beckon you to get in line and march with me in the parage of humanity!
these stripes are direct descendents of my pool lane lines grid paintings mixed with minimalist reduction.
they reflect my interest in exploring rhythm and movement within a strict chroma band.
